    RJ AndersonRJ Anderson of Walker Evans Racing, one of the hottest upcoming stars of Lucas Short Course Off Road Racing and SXSPerformance.com will partner for the remainder of the 2012 WORCS series, as Anderson chases a championship in his Polaris RZRXP UTV.

    Coming off a win in Round 5 of the WORCS series at Racetown 395, and a podium at Lake Havasu, Anderson hopes to continue his momentum in the Production 1000 class. “It’s a great opportunity for our new company to partner with a family that is iconic in the sport of off road racing” Said Mike Lasher of SXSPerformance.com. The marriage is the continuation of a relationship Lasher and Anderson’s father have had since 2006 in which Lasher wore the driver’s suit as a sponsored driver of Walker Evans Racing in the Best in the Desert series.   • JT Taylor Finishes NORRA Mexican 1000 in Ultra4 Car Winning the Evolution 4×4 Class

    Mexican 1000COLORADO SPRINGS, CO    MAY 29, 2012  –  JT Taylor completed another first in off-road racing.  He took the Torchmate / Tube Shark Ultra4 car south of the border and finished the four day 2012 General Tire NORRA Mexican 1000 Race.  “This is the funest race on the planet, and I’ve been around the planet,” joked JT Taylor.  “On a more serious note, it is an honor to be able to be welcomed by the entire NORRA staff and all the legendary drivers into their group after racing this week.” (more…)

    Trail-Gear’s Rock Ripper™ line will now include a 50-State legal header for 1995-1998 2.7L Toyota Tacomas. The Trail-Gear Rock Ripper™ 50 State Legal Tacoma Header features polished, 1/16” thick stainless steel tubes going into a ½” thick header-to-head mounting flange and a stainless steel full-band exhaust clamp. It is TIG welded and polished to give it a clean look. The Trail-Gear Rock Ripper™ 50 State Legal Tacoma Header comes with all gaskets, hardware and full-color installation instructions.     Trail-GearFresno, CA-Trail-Gear, Inc. re-released their Rock Sliders for 1997-2006 Jeep Wranglers (TJ models) today (Friday, May 11, 2012). Trail-Gear has redesigned their TJ Rock Slider and is now offering them at a better price than before.
    Rock Sliders or Rockers Guards are used to provide protection to the rocker panels of vehicles. Trail-Gear’s TJ Rocker Guards and TJ Rock Sliders have been developed specifically to work with the TJ model of Jeep Wrangler. Trail-Gear’s heavy duty Rocker Guards and Rock Sliders are designed to take a pounding from the rocks while keeping body damage to a minimum, allowing Jeeps to slide over or between rocks on even the hardest trails without damage. Trail- Gear’s TJ Rocker Guards are made from 3/16” heavy plate steel. The TJ Rock Sliders use the same 3/16” heavy plate steel with an added Rock Tube for additional side protection that can also be used as a step.
