General Tire becomes the official tire and sole supplier to the ARCA Racing Series under a multi-year agreement beginning in 2016.
Kansas City, KS – October 16, 2015. Today, General Tire in conjunction with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, announced that General Tire will become the official tire supplier to the ARCA Racing Series beginning in 2016. General Tire celebrated their 100thanniversary in September of this year and are kicking off 100 more years by announcing this multi-year sponsorship. Houston –OCTOBER 13, 2015. Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford race team led 227 of 334 laps and crossed the finish line .703 seconds ahead of Kevin Harvick, capturing his first NSCS win at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With Shell technology under the hood, the win at Charlotte also marked Logano’s fourth win of the season and the No. 22 Team Penske race team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS).
