Corona, CA (August 3, 2015) – On Thursday night, 11:00pm ET, August 6, 2015, MAVTV will air the stars and cars of the Northeast Big Block Modifieds competing in the ‘Ashley Lynn Wineries Opening Night at the Wheels’ from Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in Elbridge, NY.
The two-hour ‘Rush Hour On Dirt’ broadcast will feature top Modified racing stars from across the North East including #4 Tim McCreadie, the son of the legendary Modified driver Barefoot Bob McCreadie. Tim has driven anything from the NASCAR Xfinity Series to Big Block Modifieds and his first ever Big Block modified win came at Rolling Wheels Raceway. #49 Billy Dunn is a full-time competitor on the Super DIRTcar Series for Big Block Modifieds. He was the 2013 winner of the Syracuse 200 at the Syracuse Fairground Mile – the richest Dirt Modified Race. #19F-Tim Fuller already has eight career victories at Rolling Wheels Raceway. All three are from Watertown, NY, but the big outside competition is expected to come from Sheffield, MA’ s, #34 Andy Bachetti – a hot shoe multi-time time track champion at nearby Lebanon Valley Speedway who is looking for his first victory at Rolling Hills Raceway.
The Northeast Modifieds are 800 horsepower V8 Big Block engine race cars. They are the premier Dirt Track racing car in the Northeast often reaching speeds in excess of 125 mph on the 5/8th Rolling Hills Raceway Park clay oval.
