Snap-On Rolls Out Humongous
Tool Storage Unit

KENOSHA,
Wis., June 18, 2002 - Snap-on Tools Company has introduced
the largest roll cab on the market with more than 66,628 cubic inches
of storage. The mammoth unit is 23 percent longer, has 45 percent
more surface storage space and 37 percent more volume than other
tool storage units.
This
tool storage unit (KRL1004) has 28 drawers in a variety of widths
and heights to fit technicians’ storage needs. After delivery,
drawer locks can be easily keyed alike for convenience.
Topping
the unit is a stainless steel work surface (KRSST1004) that offers
more than 1,500 square inches of workspace. Eight spring-loaded,
heavy-duty casters provide mobility and lock when the unit is stationary.
End casters are equipped with swivel locks, which allow the unit
to pivot into optimal working positions. An additional floor lock
enhances stability and increases safety during work. The roll cab
has handles on both ends for easy moving.
The rugged tool storage unit, which has a 12,000-pound load capacity,
includes familiar KRL1000 series features, such as premium non-slip
drawer liners, Lock ‘n Roll drawers, sliding work surface
on narrow top drawers, heavy-duty ball bearing slides with quick
disconnects, two sliding trays and pull out tote tray and heavy
gauge double wall construction.
KRL1004 is 108 7/16-inches wide, 29 1/32-inches deep and 45 7/8-inches
high. The unit also features a 14-gauge under carriage support for
