MADISON
HEIGHTS, MI - Bags of mulch or dirt can leave a big mess
in the cargo area of any vehicle. Bulky items such as coolers,
camping gear, lawn chairs or portable grilles can take up much-needed
interior cargo and seating space.
Hidden
Hitchs newly improved basket carriers let you carry bulky
cargo outside your vehicle, saving valuable carrying capacity
inside of an SUV or van for passengers or more precious cargo.
We redesigned the basket carriers with the input of our
consumers in mind, said Peter Bell, marketing manager,
Hidden Hitch. The new carriers are better looking with
a superior rust resistant coating. Theyre lighter too, but
with the same load rating as the originals.
Hidden
Hitch offers the basket carriers in two sizes: Class II carriers
measure 20 W x 48 L x 6 H, fit Class II receivers
and have 350 lbs. carrying capacity. Class III carriers conveniently
mount into Class III-V receivers, measure 20 W x 60
L x 6 H, and have 500 lbs. carrying capacity.
Manufactured
of rugged stainless steel, the new basket carriers sport a round-bar
design for added safety and additional steel side rails to provide
multiple anchor points for securing cargo.
Hidden
Hitch has also produced a new light kit and folding basket adapter
as options for the revamped carriers. Accessories such as tie
down straps and receiver locks are available as well. All products
can be shipped via courier.
