MONROE, MI - Proud owners of the 2004 Ford F-150 can now drive their new vehicles directly from the dealership to a nearby performance suspension specialist, as Rancho has introduced the first fully engineered 4-inch suspension system for the industry's hottest new truck model.
Rancho's new 4-inch F-150 system features ultra-high-strength cast nodular iron knuckles to maintain precise O.E. steering geometry and Rancho's newly re-engineered single-piece welded subframe, which ensures optimal strength and appearance. The new system is available in classic Rancho Red and Outlaw Black.
“The new F-150 is undeniably the highest-profile vehicle launch this year and our engineering team has gone all out to develop a system that blends Rancho's traditional strengths with several exciting enhancements that ensure improved performance and customer satisfaction,” said Rancho Product Manager Jason Denardo. “Whether the driver intends to seriously challenge the off-road capabilities of their vehicle or enjoy a blend of off-road and street performance, this suspension is the ideal choice.”
Rancho has engineered the F-150 system for use with the world's finest shock absorbers, including RS9000X nine-position fully adjustable units on the front and new Rancho Pro Series adjustable remote reservoir shocks on the rear. The gas-charged Pro Series shocks combine the nine-position compression and rebound tuning of RS9000X units with a remotely mounted reservoir and additional fluid capacity to provide more consistent performance over a longer period of continuous operation.
In addition to the new F-150 4-inch system, Rancho has introduced a “triple-
adjustable” coil-over F-150 system that allows drivers to modify compression and rebound damping and ride height. That system will be available for purchase in early 2004.
