I have Jammar cutting brakes. I need to step on the foot pedal to preload the cutting brake or it doesn’t do much. I have a tiny residual valves on front and back on JHF portals with wilwood four piston calipers
Hey. Yes. It was a Bluetooth box that plugged into OBD port then bluetooth to your phone. Reads codes. Makes gauges too!, I bought the car with that and came with an old android phone too.I got mad and ditched the engine and all that stuff too😂😂😂 here is something similar on Amazon..
Hey thank you👍. I have not weighed this car. But the front tires are full of water to the top of rims. James Treacy claimed this was 280 lbs each wheel. guessing 3700 lbs
I bought a silicon 90* elbow. Cut it real short. Then put the mass air flow meter and a K&N air filter. The air flow meter had a provision to bolt it to the front motor mount.
Axle Pros is Fresno got me new ring and pinions. Cryogenically frozen and micro polished. Alec thought my failure was the adjuster leaving the chat. He guilted me into refilling with synthetic maxima oil!!! Cannot wait to get this thing back out
I have the switch pro 8. It is very neat with adjustable amps and self resetting circuit breakers. Very easy to install. I have a key that powers the switch pro. I programmed the power button to turn on the ARB and ignition and computer and fuel pump. Then I hit the start button. Power button...
Thank you guys for showing me some of the off map obstacles. Sand hollow is so wonderful with endless obstacles and so close to town. The people are way friendlier than I’m used to!!! If only I could afford to relocate 👍😂👍
Finally got it out to sand hollow for Labor Day weekend. 99% happy with my build. Met up with the local trial slayers Matt Jory, Woody and Dave Wong. Watched Matt climb that impossible Cluster**** and tried to follow up on the easier side. Stripped the teeth on the front ring gear went home...
Awww damn. I’m kinda stalled out with work. Everything works great. 2000 stall Torque converter seems perfect. 3.9 putts around and climbs easily but is also easily stopped in 4 low. The engine has an oil leak on the front left side up high that drips on the exhaust under the oil pan which...
My engine is solid mounted in 5 places. . The 3.9 doesn’t vibrate but I haven’t driven it much yet.
My Kalif skid is welded. Dana 300 t case pan gasket is leaking and I’m gonna need to remove interior dash bars and motor mounts to lift transmission 1” to remove tcase 🥲
This buggy came with a switch pro’s 8 switch
It is magical. Internally digital circuit breakers. The Brain will Bluetooth to your phone
You can program 4 switches to 35amp (these have two 14 gauge outputs)
4 switches are 17 amp max.
Individually programmable momentary on/off
Can turn certain...
Fired right up. Idled at 1500rpm and then after a minute and a half it idled up to 2100rpm. I realized with HP tuners that I had a faulty new GM O2 sensor. New Napa O2 sensor and we are in business
Stock D300 gears seem perfect ratio with the portals. The Buick 3.9l is surprisingly peppy a...
Getting really close on this!!!!!!
Billet cardboard waterneck (no thermostat) installed
SHO 3/4” wilwood single master cylinder with a braided flex to a manifold (internet buy) mounted with a brake light switch all plastic lines from there to calipers. Brakes are good 👍
Got the air locker...
I would believe Steve Nantz 💯. You will need flex joints at all the pivot points and mounting tabs which is a lot of connections. This buggy came with plastic lines and brakes were good. This pic is an aluminum manifold (internet) that has two 1/4” and four 1/8 npt ports. I added a brake...
Thank you for the help MAC33. I did buy the AGM bleeder and it’s works great. I have a 3/4” wilwood single master cylinder with a remote reservoir that I got from SHO. Jamar cutting brakes on the rear only. All 4 piston wilwood calipers and plastic lines. Brakes work great.
Remember to buy...
Bought this car used I do not even know the answer. I will say the 8” housing is very thin in the center where the 3rd member studs strip easily. I would get 9” next time
I’ve barely driven this car and have lost 2 CV boots already. So maybe u joints next time
Yes the differentials are Toyota 8” and they are flipped because the Hummer portals are Two gear drive so the axles actually spin backwards to spin tire forwards hahahaha
Water neck was too close to drivers side upper link so I made a 90* neck out of a chunk of aluminum 👍
We’ve got progress. Florida torque converter resplined that converter and it fits with no spacers!!! I’m so excited to hear this thing. Got the bulk of shit together. Need Couple steering lines changed and a all new wiring. Back on trail 2027😂😂
That’s great!!! I was having transmission guy problems… after a heated discussion he finished it and I now find out the torque converter doesn’t fit My trans has a 27 spline small input and a 27 large spline input. My new TC has a small 26 and large 27. Also the TC contacts the flywheel...
I’m goin at it. Got the oil pickup tube installed with a homemade tool THANK YOU TO STEER N STUFF FOR ADVICE!! I really tried to let some of the boogerwelds stay, but damn it I’ve changed to building a show car. This Dupli-Color rattle can impresses people. Always Prep extra and tape and or...
