DEI Introduces Jeep® Fuel Rail & Injector Cover Kit
Reflects heat away from fuel rail and injectors; reduces risk of fuel rail and injector heat soak
Avon Lake (September 18, 2015)…Design Engineering, Inc. (DEI) now offers a thermal Fuel Rail and Injector Cover Kit designed to custom fit 1997-2004 Jeeps® equipped with an inline-six engine (L6). Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees often are at risk of heat related fuel system problems that can cause rough idle or slow starting. DEI’s fuel rail and injector cover kit reduces rail and injector fuel temperatures; reducing instances of vapor lock. With thermal protection from radiant or direct engine heat, injectors will perform more efficiently with a more consistent throttle response.
The kit includes: 1 manifold heat shield, 1 fuel rail heat cover, 6 fuel injector covers and 12 fuel injector OE replacement O-rings. Both the heat shield and the fuel injector covers are made of high-temperature rated glass fiber material bonded to a heat reflective aluminized material. The fuel injector heat covers can be used for either stock or aftermarket fuel injectors. Easy to install, the injector covers feature a split design and sewn-in hook and loop fastening edge that takes only moments to install.

MAMER MOTORSPORTS HAS SIGHTS SET ON WINNING BIG IN LAS VEGAS LOORRS RACE
Mamer Motorsports has their sights set on rounds 15 & 16 which will take place under the lights of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this coming Friday and Saturday night. The second to last race weekend of the season, has some teams looking at getting closer to the points championship, but Mamer will be looking to get his #35 Atturo Tires Pro Lite on the podium.
“We know this truck has what it takes to get to the top of that box. Now it is just matter of all the other cards falling into place to make it happen.” Stated Mamer.
Mamer has not had the smoothest races in the past few rounds, but he has had his fair share of battles with top drivers. Consistently making a charge towards the front, but luck not being on his side to finish at the top.
The 16 year old driver hooked up his Atturo tires and kept the rubber to the dirt to come to a 12th place finish in round 13 at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno, NV. It is a track that offers many elevation changes and long stretches. This type of course didn’t leave much room for passing unless a driver made an error.
The Pro Lite use to be one full of carnage but as these young gun drivers get more skill behind the wheel as the season goes on, it is making out to be one tough class.
Mamer was dealt a bad hand in round 14 as he didn’t even get in a full 3 laps before he was pulled off the side of the course and out of the race.
“Our sights are now set on the podium in Vegas.” Stated Mamer
Some minor truck changes and tuning will get this amped up driver back behind the wheel. The Lucas Oil Off Road course out at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway offers tight turns and dirt that is known for quickly drying out in the Vegas heat and stirring up dust. This can be an advantage to those leading and Mamer now just needs to set himself up for a top qualifying spot.
Be sure to follow Mamer Motorsports over the weekend to see which way their luck goes under the lights of Las Vegas.
