FULLERTON, CA (Aug. 9, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation collected two first-place victories in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event, August 7 at Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, California. Longtime Yokohama-sponsored racer Cameron Steele captured his first Lucas Oil race of the season in the Pro Lite Class, as did Chad George, who took the title in the Super Lites Class. MESA, AZ – AUGUST 8, 2011: FAST-Aid is proud to be leading the efforts of the MDR California 200 Memorial Event at the Slash-X Ranch Café in Barstow, CA on Saturday August 13thfrom 2pm-9pm. The amazing statue that was revealed at the Off-Road Expo last October will be set into the ground at a permanent memorial spot for all to enjoy. “The whole concept is meaningful: a figure 8 with the Ribbon Memorial sitting at the very top. CalROCS Round 4, Donner CA – Great Wheeling, Better Sportsmanship.
Saturday morning July 30, 2011, all the CalROCS competitors are excited to finally take on the course at Donner Ski Ranch. Donner is always the favorite spot for competitors and spectators, so of course it is the perfect location for Round 4 of the CalROCS extreme rock crawling series. As the competitors walk the new courses that CalROCS has laid out, they share stories of past events, achievements, and carnage. They cannot wait to hit the rock so they can get new stories to share around the campfire, new achievements, and new broken parts to fix, just so they can do it all over again. (more…)
