    He takes Super Lite championship on Geolandar A/T-S® tires

    FULLERTON, CA. – (Dec.12, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation-sponsored off-road racer Chad George wrapped up a stellar season by clinching the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Super Lite title at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona on December 10.

    George piloted the Funco Motorsports #42 Kawasaki/Yokohama Super Lite – outfitted with off-the-shelf Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S+® tires – to a fourth place finish at Firebird to win the 2011 season championship.     FULLERTON, CA (Aug. 9, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation collected two first-place victories in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event, August 7 at Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, California. Longtime Yokohama-sponsored racer Cameron Steele captured his first Lucas Oil race of the season in the Pro Lite Class, as did Chad George, who took the title in the Super Lites Class.   • Yokohama Tire Corporation-Sponsored Drivers Kick-Off Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Season with Three Podium Finishes

    FULLERTON, CA (March 23, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation-sponsored drivers combined for three podium finishes at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series opener at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona, March 19-20.

    In the Pro Lite Unlimited class, Yokohama driver Jimmy Stephensen took his #33 Discount Tire/Ironclad Nissan, outfitted with  Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S® tires, to the podium with a third-place finish in round 1 on Saturday, March 19. The next day, Stephensen, from Las Vegas, repeated his podium performance with a second-place finish.   (more…)
