    WERock Cedar CityPLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 23, 2013:  The Cedar City W.E. Rock was the second ever two-day event comprised of the Trail Gear Western Series Professional Rock Crawling on Saturday, May 11th and the National Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Racing Southwest Regional race on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 12th.   The events took place at Three Peaks Recreation area, just outside of Cedar City, Utah.  “We had a lot of families here celebrating Mother’s Day and I am thankful for all the drivers that put on an awesome show for them both Saturday at the Rock Crawl and Sunday at the Dirt Riot race!” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “This is the first time in several years that we have used BLM property.  It was with great pleasure that we can say how successful it was.  Being able to work successfully with our friends at BLM was awesome.  Special thanks to the Cedar City Field Office, Mitch Owens and others for their help in making this a successful event.”  (more…)

  • LetzRoll Offroad Streak Continues with a Double Podium

    Letzroll VegasMESA, AZ     May 20, 2013   LetzRoll Offroad Racing continues their podium streak for 2013 with a double podium finish at the Cedar City, Utah Dirt Riot on May 12th.  Andrew McLaughlin and Tim Ray took 2nd place in the #4493 ESAB / Yukon Gear and Axle car while Alan Johnson and Mike Bradley took 3rd place in the #4511 HigherGRound4x4 / Pit Bull Tires car.  LetzRoll Offroad Racing has fielded cars 8 different times in the 2013 Dirt Riot season and they have been on the podium in every single one of those events.  (more…)

  • Double Header Weekend in Cedar City Utah with W.E. Rock Rock Crawling and Dirt Riot Endurance Racing

    WE Rock 5.11PLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 8, 2013:  This weekend will be two days of very different types of 4×4 off road racing at the Three Peaks Recreation area outside of Cedar City, Utah.  Saturday will be Professional W.E. Rock Rock Crawling all day and Sunday will be fast paced Dirt Riot Racing, with the main race not starting until afternoon.  Both events are spectator friendly and easily accessible by car at the county park.  “This is one of the original rock crawling sites in the nation that offers some of the best rock formations and best spectator viewing in the nation,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “For Dirt Riot on Sunday, I think I am fair in saying it will be the best course of the year so far with technical tree sections, moderate to easy rock sections, some high speed straight a ways and a spectacular road crossing jump!” (more…)

    dirt riot coppermines 140PLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 29, 2013:  The largest class of Dirt Riot UTV racers, to date, hit the course on Saturday April 13th at the Coppermines Offroad Park for the second round of the Dirt Riot Central Series.  There were 26 UTV’s on course, but that certainly didn’t take away from the Pro 4400 class where the top 3 all completed 13 laps within seconds of each other for the entire race.  “The Coppermines Park always has so much to offer the racers and spectators that we love to come back here every year, ” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “We were excited to see such a great turn out in the UTV class.  We have always had this class as an option, with an easy entry fee and safety requirements, and I am glad that it is really starting to take off.” (more…)

Rock history, hosting a two day event comprised of the Western Series Professional Rock Crawling on Saturday March 16th and the National Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Racing series kicking off its Southwest Region races on Sunday March 17th brought to you by 4 Wheelers Supply in Phoenix, Arizona.  This weekends events are very spectator friendly at the Thompson’s Ranch just outside of Congress, Arizona, only 5 miles down a dirt road that is better maintained than in years’ past and suitable for small cars.  “The terrain in Arizona is always amazing and the competitors love coming here.  We are back at the Thompson’s Ranch which is where we held our 2006 and 2007 Extreme Put-Up or Shut-Up Events, so this Saturdays Rock Crawl is going to be a lot of fun to watch with Pros coming from up to 14 hours away,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E.   • Dirt Riot Takes on Texas at First Central Series Endurance 4×4 Race

    dirt riot bryan texas 2013 175PLACERVILLE, CA   MARCH 11, 2013:  Dirt Riot’s Central Series started off with a bang at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch just outside of College Station, Texas, the home of Texas A&M and Johnny Football.  Levi Shirley, the winner of the Pro 4400 class, is starting the season out on the right foot to repeat last years Central Series and National Title Wins.  Spectators who came out to enjoy the full day of racing action got to watch UTV’s, stock 4×4 trail rigs and highly modified rock buggies battle the rocks and fast speed sections to see who could complete the most laps in a set amount of time.  “We love coming to Texas for the racing, the friends and camaraderie,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “I really enjoy our group of racers because they all have heart, it was awesome to watch the end of the Pro 4400 race as all the drivers helped their fellow competitor Tony Arledge get across the finish line.” (more…)
