    DsquaredRacing Takes Podium, Makes Impression In Prairie City

    Stampede PicJune 6-7, 2014 – Awaking from the aftermath of the 2014 King of the Hammers, the Western Ultra4 racing community officially began the 2014 series with the Metal Cloak Stampede in Prairie City, CA – home of the NorCal Rock Racing series. With the largest list of drivers ever entered in a series event, over ninety-nine teams gathered in 100+ degree heat ready to battle it out for top honors. D2R was one of these teams, armed with the newly updated Trent Fab Top Shelf IFS car; this race would be in indicator of what to expect in the upcoming season.

  • Dsquared Racing Finishes in Badlands and Qualifies for KOH 2014

    Dsquared RacingColorado based Dsquared Racing announces a 15th place finish in the 2013 Ultra 4 Regional Series Race at Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, Indiana June 29th.  The race hosted just over 30 Ultra 4 competitors and was a two hour lap race.  Although the previous year was noted for dusty conditions causing poor visibility, this year extensive rain and mud changed track conditions considerably.  Attica hosted a parade and festival that the competitors participated and on race day an estimated 8000 fans were in attendance.   • Ultra4 Race Teams Join Forces for Land Use Fundraiser

    BU, RPR, D2R Save JV CheckFebruary 5, 2013, Johnson Valley, CA – The iconic King of the Hammers race in Johnson Valley, CA took on new meaning and added opportunity for education and fundraising this year as racers work to keep the area open to public recreation.  The Marine Corps has been trying to annex the land for their use since 2007 under the auspice of training space and increased national security.  Off-roaders including the race teams involved in King of the Hammers are fighting this move and working tirelessly to keep the 146,000 acres there open to public use.  On February 5th DSquared Racing 4441, Big Ugly Racing 4435 and Race Prep Racing 4474 banded together during this year’s race week with a unique and fun idea – let’s sell cups and throw a party and give the money to the cause. Daren Henke of DSquared Racing said, “An event mid week when we are all working so hard to be ready to race just seemed perfect.” (more…)
