  • FAST-Aid 2012 Year in Review and 2013 Exciting Future

    501(c)3 Tax Deductible Donations

FastAidMESA, AZ – JANUARY 16, 2012:  Happy New Year from all of us at FAST-Aid!  2012 was a busy year taking care of racers and non-profit business needs.  We are excited for 2013 including the continued success of FAST-Aid and added participation programs that we hope you will join.

During the 2012 calendar year, FAST-Aid assisted 7 different approved applications for individuals who were in financial need due to race related accidents.  Without this assistance these individuals would have had no way to pay medical bills and household expenses during their recovery.

Also in 2012, the Board of Directors of FAST-Aid completed a nearly 3 year application process with the IRS to be a fully approved 501(c)3 organization.  (more…)

  • FAST-Aid Receives 501(c)3 Approval from IRS

    All Donations Confirmed Tax Deductible

MESA, AZ – AUGUST 7, 2012:  FAST-Aid’s Federal Tax Exempt status has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service issuing a 501(c)3, identifying all contributions made previously, and going forward, as tax deductible donations and designates FAST-Aid as a public charity. The application packet totaled nearly 100 pages including the mission statement, financial information, proof of activities and supporting documentation dating back to the inception of FAST-Aid in efforts to qualify as a charitable organization serving the off-road community.  “We were warned by Certified Public Accountants and other charitable organizations about this scrutinizing process that typically drags on for months or even years,” said Jared Tetzlaff, Fast-Aid President.  “All of us on the board of directors were confident in our integrity and transparency, as well as the great things we have accomplished in our relatively short existence.  Needless to say, we were ecstatic when we were notified that the IRS recognized our activities as being in compliance and granted full tax exemption for all financial activity effective back to October 2009…and all that without any further inquiry or analysis!” (more…)

  • King Shocks Raffle to Benefit Fast-Aid at KOH

King Shocks will be holding a raffle at 8:00pm in the Griffin lounge at the 2011 King of the Hammers Race. The proceeds of the raffle will be going to Fast-Aid, an organization that helps injured racers and their families and holds basic first aid training for teams and individuals. Many of us in the offroad community spend long hours in remote areas. Having a team member who can administer basic first aid and CPR should tragedy strike could make the difference between life or death. This raffle would not be possible without the hard work done by Fast-Aid and the generous support from the following companies in the offroad community who have donated so far.
