    Four Corners 4×4 Earns 1st Place

    Jason Kaminsky and Rick Jenkins kicked off the 2015 rock crawling season this past weekend.  The team participated in a double-header event held at the Thompson ranch in Congress, Arizona.
    On Saturday, Kaminsky piloted the #4678 in its first professional rock crawling event in the WEROCK Modified-Stock class.  Jenkins put his two decades of off road experience to good use spotting, stacking rocks, and winching through five out of the six difficult courses.  At the end of the day, the team ended up with a first place finish in their class.

    Four Corners 4×4 Completes 2014 Season

    DURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 competed August 16th in the Dirt Riot endurance racing event held at Battle Rock Off Road Park near Cortez, Colorado. The event was a Jason Kaminsky & Rick Jenkins climb out of a water crossing.double-points race and concluded both the Mountain Series and Southwest Series for the 2014 season. The #4678 race car driven by Jason Kaminsky and co-driven by Rick Jenkins had moved into third place before succumbing to mechanical failure.  The team finished in fourth place.

    “A problem with the car’s electrical system surfaced during pre-running that we weren’t able to resolve prior to the race,” commented Kaminsky. “Despite that, we were able to run as high as third place until we were taken out of the race.” (more…)

    TEAM FOUR CORNERS 4X4 EARNS PODIUM FINISH

    4cornersDURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 has returned home from competing in the Dirt Riot Mountain Series Round #2 race at RAM Off Road Park near Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 14th.  The team earned its fifth consecutive podium finish in five events for the 2014 season by finishing in third place and remained in points contention for one of the top three spots in the Dirt Riot 4600 Stock Class National Championship.

    “We enjoy coming to Colorado Springs and competing in this event each year,” comments Kaminsky. “All of the competitors in the 4600 Stock Class are bringing their A-Game to every event this season which is making for a strong, competitive field; and, this event was no different. The level of consistency amongst all of the teams is building toward a championship that will be hard-fought and well-deserved.” (more…)

    Team FC4x4 Chases National Title

    TEAM FOUR CORNERS CHASES NATIONAL TITLE

    Team Four Corners 4x4DURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 recently returned from competing in the Dirt Riot Central Series Round #2 race at Canyons Off Road Park near Fredericksburg, Texas on May 31st.  The team continued its podium streak for the 2014 season by finishing in third place and advancing a points position as they seek the Dirt Riot 4600 Stock Class National Title.

    Team owner and driver, Jason Kaminsky, was back in the car for this race with team crew member Kenn Bates, also of Durango, navigating.

    “This event was not a scheduled event for our season,” comments Kaminsky. “But, I felt it was important to our program and to our marketing partners to get out there and preserve, if not improve, our points standing in the National Title chase. Although we couldn’t finish better on the podium, we left the weekend with an improved spot in the national points.” (more…)

    Team Four Corners - Dirt Riot, Moab Utah 2DURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 began defense of its 2013 Mountain Series Title by earning a second place finish at Area BFE near Moab, Utah on April 19th.  The team has placed second in all three of its Dirt Riot competitions in 2014.  Held concurrently with the Moab Easter Jeep Safari, racing on “Big Saturday” included a full day of multi-class racing to wrap up the week long annual event that typically attracts thousands of Jeep and off road enthusiasts to the trails located in and around Moab.     Four Corners 4×4 – CONSISTENCY KEY ELEMENT FOR DURANGO OFF ROAD RACING TEAM

    FourCorners4x4-1DURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 traveled to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the second round of the Dirt Riot Endurance Racing Southwest Series at MC Motorsports Park on April 5th. In Dirt Riot Endurance Racing, teams compete on a 5-10 mile long circuit during an established time limit. Competitor finishing order is determined by the number of laps completed by each within the time limit. The 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ piloted by Jason Kaminsky and Rick Jenkins of Four Corners 4×4 suffered late-race mechanical breakage causing the team to finish in second place. (more…)
