October 1st, 2013 – Jeff Knoll shocked the off road industry in March, 2011 when he announced he would be stepping away from the King of the Hammers (KOH), Ultra4 racing, and Hammerking Productions, Inc. Now the largest off road race in the United States KOH changed the landscape of Rocksports during the Great Recession, attracting 30,000 fans and participants to the desert of Johnson Valley, California. Simi Valley, CA – January 31, 2012 – This years running of the King of the Hammers adds a new element of competition with the Smittybilt Everyman’s Challenge. The Everyman’s Challenge will feature two classes of racing and allow racers with production based vehicles a place to race and be competitive. Being a Jeep based manufacturer and the official suspension of the Ultra4 series we felt it was only appropriate to field a competitor in each class.
