    2014 King of The Hammers Will Continue in Johnson Valley, CADecember 11th, 2013: JOHNSON VALLEY, CA:  Hammerking Productions, the founders of The Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire, are pleased to announce that the week-long off road festival held annually in Johnson Valley, CA will be able to continue in its current location for the foreseeable future. After six years of negotiations between the United States Marine Corps, the federal government and the Off Highway Vehicle(OHV) Community, a deal has been reached to preserve the majority of the land in Johnson Valley for OHV use.     TWIN PEAKS, CA – May 21st, 2013 – Hammerking Productions released the trailer for the 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers Pesented by Nitto Tire movie titled, “Vindication”  today. The title for this year’s film is a reference to the 2013 King, Randy Slawson.   • King of the Hammers Promoter Dave Cole Stuns Racers in an Effort to Save the Hammers

    Traditionally, the Griffin King of the Hammers has been limited to a field of 100 racers; twenty of whom gain entry into the race by competing in a Last Chance Qualifying (LCQ) race that happens in the days prior to the King of the Hammers. More than 70 drivers competed for one of the 20 remaining spots. After the completion of today’s qualifying rounds, both drivers and spectators waited anxiously for news of which teams would move on to the main race and which teams would be packing up their vehicles to start their long journey home.     Generous Donation by Griffin Radiator to Benefit Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame

    September 29, 2011 – Pomona, CA:  Griffin Radiator , the title sponsor of every King of The Hammers race to date, has donated their 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers qualifying spot to a silent auction taking place at the Off Road Motorsports Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday, October 7th at the Pomona fairplex. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame. (more…)
