This new product uses a magnet to lock the mirror in place in the door’s upper hinge, eliminating the need for tools or set screws.Drop In Door Side Mirrors have been popular for a number of years with Jeep owners, but most designs require the use of a set screw or other threaded attachment methods to keep the mirror locked in place once it’s installed in the door’s upper hinge. Steinjäger’s new mirror uses a high strength magnet, in conjunction with a highly toleranced pin that fits inside of the hinge, to hold the mirror firmly in place just by simply dropping it into the hinge. The mirrors are manufactured in the USA. Steinjäger will personalize the mirrors for an additional charge.
