Now that a King has been crowned, nearly 250 drivers have committed to taking on the unforgiving desert terrain at the 2015 King Shocks Battle at Primm. Over the past 46 years the Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiast (SNORE) and their volunteer army has helped to keep high speed desert racing alive in the greater Las Vegas, NV area. This year the race teams will congregate at Buffalo Bill’s Hotel and Casino and push their race cars, trucks, and buggies to the limit in the 3-day season opener, February 20–22, 2015. (more…)

King Shocks Sweeps San Felipe 250 Podium
February 1st, 2015 – Garden Grove, CA – When it comes to shock punishing terrain, few races compare to SCORE International’s San Felipe 250. The San Felipe course contains sand, silt, rocks and miles of bone jarring, square edged whoops. In the unlimited Trophy Truck class, King Shocks racers decimated the competition in San Felipe; taking the overall win and a clean sweep of the podium. JT Taylor Recognized as Only Racer to Take All 8 Green Flags for King of the Hammers
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO FEBRUARY 12, 2014 Friday February 7thmarked the 8th green flag of the now Internationally known Griffin King of the Hammers. JT Taylor is the only racer on the lakebed that can boast seeing all 8 green flags, and has driven the same car at 7 of the 8 events, with a 12thplace finish in 2013. “I am really surprised how time flies, to say that the first race we did was 8 years ago is crazy,” JT said in astonishment. “We just went out and had fun the first time, and I am still doing the same. BFGoodrich® Tires Driver Randy Slawson Wins Backdoor Shoot Out
GREENVILLE, SC (Feb 3, 2014) – BFGoodrich® Tires driver Randy Slawson, owner of Bomber Fabrication and the 2013 King of the Hammers, won the King Shocks Backdoor Shoot Out on Monday night utilizing the sticky compound of the new Baja T/A KR2. Second place Cody Waggner, also running BFGoodrich Baja T/A Krawlers, took second with only a half of second separating the two.
