BFGoodrich® Tires Driver Randy Slawson Wins Backdoor Shoot Out

GREENVILLE, SC (Feb 3, 2014) – BFGoodrich^® Tires driver Randy Slawson, owner of Bomber Fabrication and the 2013 King of the Hammers, won the King Shocks Backdoor Shoot Out on Monday night utilizing the sticky compound of the new Baja T/A KR2. Second place Cody Waggner, also running BFGoodrich Baja T/A Krawlers, took second with only a half of second separating the two. Notably, the top three cars in the shootout were Randy Slawson Bomber Fabrication built cars.

Mopar Takes on ‘King of The Hammers’
HEMI^® Crate Engines to Power Spec Class in Every Man Challenge Race
- Mopar joins the 2014 Griffin King of The Hammers off-road race in a new spec class to debut on Feb 6 in the California desert
- 8^th annual King of The Hammers is an off-road event combining desert racing and rock crawling with four competitive classes

GREENVILLE, SC (Feb 1, 2014) – BFGoodrich^® Tires has over a hundred teams on the lake bed sporting some kind of BFGoodrich tread pattern from the brand new Baja T/A KR2 prototype tire on reigning King Randy Slawson’s car, to teams running the more common Krawler T/A or Mud-Terrain T/A.

2014 King of the Motos Preview

February 1, 2014 (Johnson Valley, CA) – The 2014 King of the Motos Presented by Trail Tech officially begins today in Johnson Valley, California. The event, dubbed the toughest extreme enduro in the United States will combine open desert racing with the punishing rock climbs and decents the Hammers trails are known for.
