    The 5th annual King of the Hammers (KOH) UTV extreme endurance race held on Thursday, February 7th at the Johnson Valley OHV area, will take Jon and his accomplished co-driver, Blake Van de Loo, through 115 miles of body jarring, equipment pounding terrain.   • Polaris RZR XP 900s take on the Rubicon UTV Challenge

    I have been riding here since the early 1990s.  First in a Jeep CJ7 that was never complete.  I was always looking for something new to make the trail easier or more comfortable. Then in 1998 I bought a Jeep TJ.  The new Jeep with a lift kit and 33 inch tires was more capable than my 1977 CJ7 that had thousands invested to make it more trail worthy. But I still added a long list of goodies to the new TJ. Something about the trail has always captured my intrigue and made me want to build vehicles capable of taking on the trail without lots of damage.

    It is perhaps the best known off-roading trail in the world. The Rubicon Trail located in Northern California is world famous among 4×4 fans. The trail was established in the late 1800′s as a stage coach route between Georgetown and Lake Tahoe mainly to serve two resort hotels at Wentworth Springs and Rubicon Springs. After the hotels went out of business and the road deteriorated it was picked as home for the first Jeepers Jamboree in 1953. Since then it has gained international recognition and is considered the “Granddaddy” of all four-wheel trails – a 10 on most scales.   • RJ Anderson Dominates WORCS RD3 in Lake Havasu

    Riverside, CA 3/21/2012 –    RJ Anderson and the Walker Evans Racing (WER) team headed to Lake Havasu, AZ last weekend and it wasn’t because they wanted to partake in the spring break madness. No, RJ and the team had work to do and work is exactly what they did. After coming up short in round 2 RJ was ready for a win in the Production 1000 class in his Polaris RZR XP900.  With his Holz Racing built machine fully prepped RJ lined up next to 30 other class racers and took them all to school putting in the races fastest lap time and winning in dominating fashion.  RJ was a full minute ahead of the second place finisher when the checkered flag dropped dominating the class and the race.  With this win RJ moved into first in points giving him added confidence and motivation heading towards round 4 of the series.  Needless to say, RJ fully enjoyed the tight and rough course at Crazyhorse Campground in Lake Havasu, AZ.   • RJ Anderson Finishes 2011 Racing Season on Top

    Rj PodiumRiverside, CA 12/13/2011 –   The 2011 off-road racing season ended in spectacular fashion for the Walker Evans Racing (WER) team.  Driver RJ Anderson clinched his very first UTV Unlimited Championship in the final rounds of racing at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) finale in Chandler, AZ at the always fun Firebird International Raceway.  It has been a long time coming for RJ and his #637 Walker Evans Racing /South Point Casino Polaris RZR.  Having competed in all 3 seasons of LOORRS in a UTV and seeming to always fall just a few points short of winning it all, it was really encouraging to RJ, the Walker Evans Racing team, and all of his sponsors to come out this year and dominate like he did.   • Kane Fraser Pilots UTV 1802 into Baja 1000 Internet History

    NOVEMBER 29, 2011  Kane Fraser, a paraplegic, decided to take on the 2011 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 in a Polaris RZR XP 900 after watching Dust to Glory multiple times and being inspired by the Man in Motion, Rick Hansen. “This was our first Baja 1000, our first time racing, and for me my first time racing in any sport ever,” said Kane Fraser.  The team would add over 100 miles to their total mileage after a wrong turn, and in turn would add hundreds of followers as they headed towards their ceremonial finish at 2am Sunday morning, 36 hours after the start Friday afternoon. “We wanted to finish, we didn’t care, nothing would stop us.  We kept going and did finish! We were a little bug eyed, but we finished,” said Heino Seibert from Spectra Power Sports, Kane Frasers Co-Driver.   Kane Fraser went into this adventure with three goals, “In terms of what I wanted to accomplish, for me number one was to raise $25,000 for the Rick Hansen Foundation.  Second, is to create awareness of the abilities of people with disabilities.  And third, to inspire one disabled person to really move ahead with their goals and strive to achieve their goals, because as long as you try and try you will succeed, you just have to keep moving forward.”
