    RJ AndersonRJ Anderson of Walker Evans Racing, one of the hottest upcoming stars of Lucas Short Course Off Road Racing and SXSPerformance.com will partner for the remainder of the 2012 WORCS series, as Anderson chases a championship in his Polaris RZRXP UTV.

    Coming off a win in Round 5 of the WORCS series at Racetown 395, and a podium at Lake Havasu, Anderson hopes to continue his momentum in the Production 1000 class. “It’s a great opportunity for our new company to partner with a family that is iconic in the sport of off road racing” Said Mike Lasher of SXSPerformance.com. The marriage is the continuation of a relationship Lasher and Anderson’s father have had since 2006 in which Lasher wore the driver’s suit as a sponsored driver of Walker Evans Racing in the Best in the Desert series.   • RJ Anderson Dominates WORCS RD3 in Lake Havasu

    Riverside, CA 3/21/2012 –    RJ Anderson and the Walker Evans Racing (WER) team headed to Lake Havasu, AZ last weekend and it wasn’t because they wanted to partake in the spring break madness. No, RJ and the team had work to do and work is exactly what they did. After coming up short in round 2 RJ was ready for a win in the Production 1000 class in his Polaris RZR XP900.  With his Holz Racing built machine fully prepped RJ lined up next to 30 other class racers and took them all to school putting in the races fastest lap time and winning in dominating fashion.  RJ was a full minute ahead of the second place finisher when the checkered flag dropped dominating the class and the race.  With this win RJ moved into first in points giving him added confidence and motivation heading towards round 4 of the series.  Needless to say, RJ fully enjoyed the tight and rough course at Crazyhorse Campground in Lake Havasu, AZ.   • RJ Anderson Finishes 2011 Racing Season on Top

    LOORS UTV Champion, SuperLite Challenge Cup WIN, TORC Rookie of The Year

    Rj PodiumRiverside, CA 12/13/2011 –   The 2011 off-road racing season ended in spectacular fashion for the Walker Evans Racing (WER) team.  Driver RJ Anderson clinched his very first UTV Unlimited Championship in the final rounds of racing at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) finale in Chandler, AZ at the always fun Firebird International Raceway.  It has been a long time coming for RJ and his #637 Walker Evans Racing /South Point Casino Polaris RZR.  Having competed in all 3 seasons of LOORRS in a UTV and seeming to always fall just a few points short of winning it all, it was really encouraging to RJ, the Walker Evans Racing team, and all of his sponsors to come out this year and dominate like he did.   • Anderson Takes Podiums in 5 of 6 Races at LOORRS Las Vegas

    Riverside, CA 11/17/2011 –  It was a big weekend in Las Vegas for rounds 13 & 14 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS).  With the stands packed in honor of fallen competitor Rick Huseman, the level of competition on the track was lifted to a level not seen all year.  Racers in all classes competed with heavy hearts and payed respects with their vehicles sporting #36 tribute decals in honor of Huseman and his younger brother Jeff who were tragically killed in a air plane crash weeks prior. Rick Huseman’s older brother and crew chief Dan Huseman, took his #36 Monster Energy Toyota around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway track for one final lap while the fan packed stands looked on.  With the sun shining and the brisk air surrounding the track the racers, including RJ Anderson were ready to honor Rick the best way they knew how, by racing hard and leaving it all out on the track!     SURPRISE, ARIZ. (April 19, 2011) — Before a hometown crowd, Jacob Person put on a display of dirt track dominance that had his orange-shirted cheering section out of their seats and shouting themselves hoarse, as he knocked down back-to-back wins for the SuperLite Championship Round 3 and 4 weekend at Speedworld Off Road Park.
