Adding to the previous clamps that fit 2.25-3.00-inch diameter tubing, the new clamps fit smaller tubes such as those found on roof racks and pre-runner push bars measuring 1.25-2.00-inches.

RUGGED RIDGE’S NEW INVERTED DRAG LINK FOR ’07-’14 JK WRANGLERS RESTORES STEERING GEOMETRY ON LIFTED JEEPS

Suwanee, Ga. (July 22, 2014) – Rugged Ridge®, a manufacturer of Jeep® off-road accessories and suspension kits, today introduced its new inverted drag link for 2007-2014 Jeep JK Wranglers. Specially designed to fix steering geometry issues that plague lifted Jeeps, the new design reduces bump steer and increases ground clearance; keeping vital steering components out of the way from rocks and other obstacles on the trail.

Jeep’s original design has the drag link mounted from the bottom of the passenger side steering knuckle, leaving the drag link especially vulnerable to trail damage. Using Rugged Ridge’s new design, owners drill out the original steering knuckle mounting hole and relocate the new inverted drag link over the top of the knuckle using a connecting sleeve, gaining precious ground clearance. Rugged Ridge Trail Access Program Donates More Than $27K in Off-Road Grants

(March 25, 2013) – Following its November launch at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Rugged Ridge today announced that so far its Trail Access Program has awarded six grants totaling more than $27,000 to non-profit off-road organizations. Gen II Swing and Lock Tire Carrier System Offers Full Tailgate Function and Easy, No Drill Installation

Suwanee, Ga. (February 11, 2014) – Rugged Ridge® today announced the availability of its new Gen II Swing and Lock Tire Carrier for the 2007-2014 Jeep® Wrangler JK, beginning April 1.

Unlike previous designs, Rugged Ridge’s tire carrier maintains full mobility of the rear tailgate and eliminates the cumbersome two-stage opening process present in other designs.
