Compton, California (November 3, 2016) – Transamerican Auto Parts has named the winner in its second annual “Life is Better Off-Road™” SEMA vehicle build competition held at the 2016 SEMA automotive aftermarket industry trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year’s best presented, truly off-road capable truck, Jeep or SUV on display at the show was the Daystar Products’ 1941 Dodge Powerwagon “Bootlegger,” as deemed by a panel of off-road industry experts in a ceremony held at the Pro Comp/Transamerican Auto Parts SEMA Show booth. Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Events Conclude at SEMA Show
MESA, AZ October 31, 2016: After initially announcing three events that ladies could qualify to participate in for the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge, the annual trade-only SEMA Show was added to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge as a fourth event. Although not a driving event, the two ladies chosen to be part of the Bower Media team as Charlene Bower’s assistants are Kristie Moore and Leigh Singleton. (more…)

Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Announces a Surprise 4th Event Joining the Bower Media Team at the SEMA Show
Winner to be Announced at Bantam Jeep Festival
MESA, AZ JUNE 10, 2016: After initially announcing the three events that ladies could qualify to participate in for the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge, the RallyVenture event had to be replace with the Trail of Missions due to permitting issues. On the heels of this change, Charlene Bower has another surprise. The annual trade-only SEMA Show has been added to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge as a fourth event. Although not a driving event, the two ladies chosen will be part of the Bower Media team as Charlene Bower’s assistant and will have multiple business challenges presented to them. Jobs will include taking pictures, helping with distribution of information, sitting in on 2017 planning meetings, being a testament to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge and GEM Offroad programs, helping manage our Ladies Meet & Greet and more. The evenings will be packed with social activities at events including the 2016 Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the 2016 SCORE Baja 1000 qualifying, BFGoodrich Tires parties, our Ladies Meet & Greet, plus many other parties.
