    He takes Super Lite championship on Geolandar A/T-S® tires

    FULLERTON, CA. – (Dec.12, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation-sponsored off-road racer Chad George wrapped up a stellar season by clinching the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Super Lite title at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona on December 10.

    George piloted the Funco Motorsports #42 Kawasaki/Yokohama Super Lite – outfitted with off-the-shelf Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S+® tires – to a fourth place finish at Firebird to win the 2011 season championship.   • Anderson Takes Podiums in 5 of 6 Races at LOORRS Las Vegas

    Riverside, CA 11/17/2011 –  It was a big weekend in Las Vegas for rounds 13 & 14 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS).  With the stands packed in honor of fallen competitor Rick Huseman, the level of competition on the track was lifted to a level not seen all year.  Racers in all classes competed with heavy hearts and payed respects with their vehicles sporting #36 tribute decals in honor of Huseman and his younger brother Jeff who were tragically killed in a air plane crash weeks prior. Rick Huseman’s older brother and crew chief Dan Huseman, took his #36 Monster Energy Toyota around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway track for one final lap while the fan packed stands looked on.  With the sun shining and the brisk air surrounding the track the racers, including RJ Anderson were ready to honor Rick the best way they knew how, by racing hard and leaving it all out on the track!   • Sheldon Creed: The Future Of Off Road Racing Is Now

    A mere fourteen years old, Sheldon Creed has experienced more Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) victories than birthdays.  The three-time Kart champion took home his 17th short course win last weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this time in the ultracompetitive Super Lite class.  It has hard to believe that Creed’s first time racing in the Super Lite spec class was in September at Speedworld, where he reached the podium in a field of 14 trucks just a week before his fourteenth birthday.     San Bernardino, Calif. – (Aug. 15, 2011) – Team General Tire’s unstoppable off-road force is at it again, tearing up the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino during Round 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series Aug. 6 and 7. Young-gun Dawson Kirchner topped the podium in Super Lite on Saturday, with teammates Robby Woods taking 2nd in Pro 2, Carl Renezeder grabbing 2nd in Pro 4 and Quentin Tucker taking home 2nd in Limited Buggy. On Sunday, Renezeder walked away with 3rd in Pro 4, Woods took 2nd in Pro 2 and Kirchner returned to the podium to take 3rd in Super Lite. (more…)
