    San Bernardino, Calif. – (Aug. 15, 2011) – Team General Tire’s unstoppable off-road force is at it again, tearing up the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino during Round 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series Aug. 6 and 7. Young-gun Dawson Kirchner topped the podium in Super Lite on Saturday, with teammates Robby Woods taking 2nd in Pro 2, Carl Renezeder grabbing 2nd in Pro 4 and Quentin Tucker taking home 2nd in Limited Buggy. On Sunday, Renezeder walked away with 3rd in Pro 4, Woods took 2nd in Pro 2 and Kirchner returned to the podium to take 3rd in Super Lite. (more…)

  • Team GT’s Marc Burnett tops the podium in Class 6 at the Baja 500

    Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico – (June 9, 2011) – The legendary 2011 Tecate SCORE Baja 500 saw intense desert action this weekend, with Team General Tire’s Marc Burnett topping the podium in Class 6.

    With 254 registered starters competing in 28 Pro and seven Sportsman classes, Burnett left no time for the dust to settle, knocking off his competitors one by one.  Focused on a win for GT, Burnett pre-ran the course for weeks prior, and all his hard work and team efforts paid off. (more…)

    SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – (May 25, 2011) – The beautiful sunny and clear California weather didn’t disappoint this weekend, and neither did the action-packed Round 5 and 6 races of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series at Glen Helen Raceway May 21 and 22.  Team General Tire’s Carl Renezeder stormed the podium, taking first in Pro 2 and Pro 4 Saturday, followed by first in Pro 2 and second in Pro 4 Sunday.   • Jeff ‘Ox’ Kargola Annihilates the Competition

    Chandler, Ariz. – (March 23, 2011) – Team General Tire’s Jeff ‘Ox’ Kargola tore up the course Sunday, taking home his first-ever victory in Superlite and earning second position overall in the class.

    As the sun beamed over the legendary Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Ariz., March 20, the crowd at Round 2 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series anxiously awaited the sure-to-be action-packed Superlite race.  Ox, a freestyle MX rider and Baja MX racer and a relatively new driver to the off-road scene, was ready to take on the rigorous course.  (more…)

  • Team General Tire’s Carl Renezeder and Robby Woods take the podium at the close of the 2010 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series

    Robby Woods at Round 15 of LOORRSPHOENIX, Ariz. – (Dec. 16, 2010) – Team General Tire’s 2010 off-road racing season culminates in solid finishes, with Carl Renezeder taking second in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series Pro 2 Unlimited battle Dec. 11th, and tacking on a third-place victory in the Rockstar Energy Challenge Cup Dec. 12th at Phoenix’s famed Firebird Raceway.  On Saturday, Team GT’s Robby Woods took home third place in Pro 2 Unlimited and also in the LOORRS Rockstar Energy Challenge Cup, Dawson Kirchner took second in Superlite on General Tire Grabber AT2 tires and Team GT’s Jeff “Ox” Kargola took fourth in Superlite on Saturday.
