  • Ultra4s Dominate the Desert at Silver State 300

    April 30, 2011- Las Vegas, NV: From grocery-getting Expeditions to monstrous blue-tubed buggies, it was hard to miss the unlimited 4-wheel drive class known as Ultra4 at last weekend’s Best in the Desert Silver State 300. The Ultra4 class, identifiable by their 4400 numbers, proved once again that they can hold their own in the desert:  They were both the largest class at the start line and the largest class to cross the finish line at Saturday’s 300 mile high-speed race through Nevada’s scenic back country. The drivers had weather on their side as cool temperatures kept overheating issues at bay and windy conditions made passing easier on a course that is already known to be a smooth, fast course well suited for many of the Ultra4 cars.   • GenRight Off-Road finished the BITD Silver State 300 in 3rd Place!

    Simi Valley, CA 5/5/11 – Coming off of a second place finish at the 2011 Griffin King of the Hammers Tony Pellegrino and the GenRight team were ready to get back in the seat and go racing again.  As race day grew closer the anticipation continued to grow.  It all started with the results from the starting position draw where Tony drew the first starting position.  This was great way to start the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 considering how far in the back of the pack they had started at the King of the Hammers.   • Ultra4 in Force at Silver State 300

    April 27, 2011 –LAS VEGAS, NV: They go by many names – rock crawlers, rock racers, King of the Hammers cars, but to the devoted fans that closely follow the unlimited 4 wheel drive racing class that has evolved from King of the Hammers style events: They are known as Ultra4, and they are showing up in mass this weekend at the Best in the Desert Silver State 300. With more than 35 cars expected at the start line in Alamo, NV, the Ultra4 cars sporting 4400 numbers will be the single largest class racing this Saturday. (more…)

  • Torchmate Racing Brad Lovell Takes Overall Win at BRT Desert Race, Jesse Haines Wins Cal-Neva Extreme and Tyler Thomas and Matt Shrive Compete at 2011 Arctic Man

    RENO, NV     APRIL 13, 2011   Torchmate Racing had drivers at every aspect of the country last weekend.  In Texas, Brad Lovell made history taking the Overall Win at the BRT Blackwelll 250 Desert Race in an Ultra4 car.  Rock Crawler Jesse Haines took the Unlimited Class win at the Cal-Neva Extreme event in Reno, NV successfully completing every bonus line.  In Alaska, Torchmate Racing Tyler Thomas and Matt Shrive raced in the 2011 Arctic Man where their hopes of leaving with the win got cut short when Shrive crashed at speeds over 50mph on his snowboard.   • Staying on Course at Hammerking Productions Inc

    JOHNSON VALLEY, CA,  MARCH 2, 2011   Hammerking Productions, Inc. will no longer be lead jointly by founders of the company, Jeff Knoll and Dave Cole, effective March 15th, 2011. Jeff has made the decision to explore new adventures and is leaving the organization that both he and Dave took from a concept to one of the most successful off road races in America.

It has been a pleasure to work with all of the teams and sponsors over the last 5 years.   • Raceline Wheels Takes Multiple Checkered Flags at King of the Hammers

    Raceline 2nd Annual Show and Shine & Raceline Volunteer Dinner a Success

    GARDEN GROVE, CA    FEBRUARY 24, 2011:  Raceline Wheels spent the week at the 2011 Griffin King of the Hammers supporting all the racers, volunteers and spectators.  Seventeen finishers had Raceline Wheels on their rigs crossing the finish line.

    The wheels proved once again to hold up to the most challenging races in the United States battling huge rocks, desert whoops and sand washes at speed.  There is no doubt that the Monster Wheel could stand to battle and was also seen on quite a few trail rigs loaded with spectators headed out to watch the action.  “Raceline Wheels makes a tough wheel.  We raced almost eight miles on a flat at King of the Hammers this year and the wheel is still totally straight,” said Lucas Murphy #816.
