There
was not a scheduled run for Golden Spike on Wednesday, so a bunch
of us decided to do our own. The trip begins with Poison Spider
Mesa. Here we are lining up just above Potash Road at the
trailhead.
Tim
Kyle hits the Waterfall.
Steve
Yacucha of Edmonton, Alberta heads up the trail.
Here's
me edging my way over the crack. |
One
of the first good obstacles is the Waterfall. Mother Nature
decided to make things more interesting and dump a nice, wet,
muddy, sand puddle right at the bottom.
Here's
our leader in his '48 Willys heading over a great crack (sorry,
forgot the name).
We
let a bunch of 4-wheelers go by us while on the crack. Here's
Richard's partially sponsored Toyota
4x4 pickup.
If
you hit the end of the crack just right, you can get a great
air-shot!
