The Journey to Moab

Roswell
A trip to Moab, from Texas is incomplete without stopping in Roswell, New Mexico to take in a little bit of the local UFO vibe.

Taos
Just a few miles west of Taos there is a very high bridge over a river. See the white spot way down there?

Taos
The ride down the mountain from Taos was one breath-taking snowy view after another. We just don't see this in Texas!

Taos
Tim was driving to Moab, so he decided to go play. The sign, though, made him think twice about this particular location. Tread Lightly, Tim! Turn around!

Taos
He didn't get far, though, until he just sat and spun. Once he made it out, we had a little snowball fight and hit the road again.

Taos
After heading through Santa Fe, New Mexico, we changed drivers. Even with two GPS units and an atlas, nobody seemed to be paying attention and we missed our turn (hey, I was sleeping)! We decided to keep going and ended up in Taos, which is over 11,000 feet. Here, Lesbo, Rick, and Matius look at the atlas!

Taos
Could this be an omen? Way down there at the bottom, was an old Jeep! You can almost hear it..."Don't worry, honey. I can make it up the hill. I have lockers!"

Taos
The Project TJ looks good against the snow! I wanted so badly to go play, but was too lazy to unload the Jeep.

Taos
Tim decided to just give it a little test-drive in the snow on the side of the road.
