We had Bruiser Conversions do the swap in preparation for a 2 year trip through Africa in the Jeep. I really thought we would need a diesel vehicle for that. As it turns out, we liked the torque and towing capability, but could have gotten gasoline anywhere we went.
We put The Ultimate Dana 60s on it, along with a NV4500, 2nd fuel tank from Gen Right, and a sport cage on for that trip, when we did the engine swap. And it was fantastic in Africa, but no longer suits our needs of living full time in the road. It is an animal on trails and is fully in its element in the steeps.
