1TOOELE, UT – AUGUST 23rd, 2014: More than 90 teams registered for the Discount Tire American Rocksports Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park. With double the car count from 2013, the racing was some of the tightest and most intense of the 2014 ULTRA4 season to date. After a fierce battle in the main among 4 former Kings; Campbell, Healy, Scherer and Miller, it was Healy who climbed to the top of the podium for his 2nd consecutive ULTRA4 win. "EZ" Rick MooneyhamTOOELE, UT July 16th, 2013: Driver “EZ” Rick Mooneyham is no stranger to the ULTRA4 podium.  Over the years, he’s been one of the most consistent top three finishers at the Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire. However, despite all of his podium finishes, a first place trophy had proved elusive to Mooneyham; that is until last weekend’s American Rocksports Challenge held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where Mooneyham crushed the competition and claimed first place finishing nearly 45 seconds ahead of Shannon Campbell. Miller Motorsports Park Finalizes 2013 Schedule

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (December 19, 2012) — With the recent announcement that the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, will be coming to Miller Motorsports Park on August 17, 2013, the remainder of the track’s 2013 schedule has now been finalized and season passes are now on sale at a substantial discount.

The 2013 schedule will be quite a bit different from recent years, with the first major event of the season not taking place until late June and a jam-packed schedule throughout August and September, but track officials are pleased with the number and variety of events planned. Read More→

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (October 25, 2012) — The new Ford Racing F-150 SVT Raptor Assault program, based at Miller Motorsports Park, has announced its full schedule for the 2013 season.

The Ford Racing Raptor Assault program provides hands-on experience in high-performance off-road driving on a variety of terrain at the state-of-the-art facility just outside Salt Lake City. A product of the Miller Performance Schools, the Raptor Assault uses slightly modified versions of Ford’s renowned production F-150 SVT Raptor. Read More→

Lucas OilTOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (June 18, 2012) —One of the wildest events of the year is on tap at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend, June 23-24, as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series makes its third annual visit to Utah.

The high-flying, non-stop, adrenaline-fueled action provided by the series’ trucks and buggies has proven to be very popular with Utah fans. There are nine separate racing classes, four for trucks, two for buggies and three for karts (small, truck-bodied off-road buggies). In addition to well-known off-road racing stars like Utah’s Jerry Daugherty, Carl Renezeder, Curt LeDuc and Rob McCachren, the series is enjoying an influx of action sports stars such as motocross legends Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Carey Hart. Grassroots off-road series showing promising growth

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (May 8, 2012) — The newly-created Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series – Utah kicked off its 2012 season on the Off Road Short Course at Miller Motorsports Park this past Saturday, May 5.

The regional racers set out on Friday afternoon to test their vehicles on the track.  Some had not been in their race cars since last season, and some were testing new vehicles for the first time.  In addition, there were many newcomers to the series, some of whom traveled from as far away as Colorado to participate.  The new series is growing briskly, as the participation has more than doubled since its inception last summer.   Read More→

PLACERVILLE, CA   SEPTEMBER 28, 2010:  After two days of intense W.E. Rock crawling where the lead changed more times than can be counted, the final scores crowned Brent Bradshaw the Unlimited Class National Champion, Troy Bailey the Pro Modified National Champion and Duane Garretson the Stock Class Champion.   The W.E. Rock Grand National Championships were held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where the East Coast competitors met the West Coast competitors to determine the National Champion at the season finale.  “The Grand Nationals is always the one of the best events of the year where all the competitors come together and put their battles on the rocks,” said Rich Klein, W.E. Rock promoter.  “There were so many lead changes it made it exciting for everyone watching and involved, each course had to be executed perfectly to take the win.”

PLACERVILLE, CA   SEPTEMBER 6, 2010:  The Western Pro National four event season came to an end titling Brent Bradshaw the Unlimited Class Champion, Nick Campbell the Pro Modified Class Champion and Victor Burness the Modified Stock Class Championship.  The Unlimited and Pro Modified Class had points battles to the end that made every event important.  The Champions will be presented at the W.E. July 19, 2011 –Tooele, UT:  Team GenRight’s Kevin Sacalas beat out this year’s King of The Hammers winner and current Ultra4 Series leader, Shannon Campbell to take the victory at the American Rocksports Challenge. The event took place at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT. The American Rocksports Challenge combines a rock-crawling obstacle course with a short course track. July 21, 2011 – Tooele, UT:  Richie Carter, driver of the 4474 Race Prep Racing car had another successful weekend, finishing the American Rock Sports Challenge at Miller Motorsports Parkin Tooele, Utah in 17th place.  A weekend jeeper, Richie kept the car together, suffering no mechanical issues all weekend, and pushed his 230 horsepower motor to the limit on this brand new course.  A combination of short course and man-made rock pile, the American Rock Sports Challenge proved a good event for the team and allowed Race Prep Racing to continue with their successful season of finishing without breaking, which has consistently landed them in the top half of the competition at every race this year.
