    Driven Exp Baja 500 Bower Media 2GATEWAY, CO   JUNE 17, 2014:  Driven Experiences first run at the SCORE Baja races proves their Arrive and Drive Trophy Truck Spec program has the gears to become a long-term program. Driven Experiences gave two clients with a dream to race Baja an intensive two week drivers training between Driven Experiences training facility at Gateway Canyons Resort in Colorado, the deserts of Barstow California and a full week in Baja pre-running.   The team felt confidence that the clients had all the tools to be successful at the wave of the green flag.

    “It’s been a good experience.  I’m excited that we got them to this point and now we just need to get them starting the race in the morning.  It has been a journey for sure, but I think it’s a testament to our crew getting the job done.  We have a solid truck and a solid crew chasing, so now I am excited to get the race going,” said Andrew Hendricks, Driven Experiences’ President. Photo by Tim SanchezFULLERTON, CA. – (May 28, 2013) – In March, Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) made history by partnering with the first-ever all-woman Trophy Truck driver tandem in SCORE (Southern California Off Road Enthusiasts) racing: The Desert Assassins’ Heidi Steele and Jessica McMillin. YTC follows the teammates in this Q&A as they gear up for the Baja 500 race on May 31-June 1. The co-drivers discuss working together, the challenges of the Trophy Truck division and race – as well as tire – strategy.

    Heidi is a four-time SCORE Class champion who is married to Desert Assassins teammate and veteran off-roader Cameron Steele. Jessica, also a SCORE champion, but new to the Desert Assassins team, is part of the famous off-road racing McMillin family. Both drivers are racing in the Trophy Truck class for the first time and competing on specially-engineered 40-inch Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S® R tires mounted on their 800-horsepower Geiser Brothers truck.   • King Shocks Racer’s Dominate at CODE, Mexicana Logistics 300

    The King Shocks Trophy Truck team of Juan Carlos Lopez and Clyde Stacy has been making huge strides together. Running up front for several races now, the team broke-out at the Code, Mexicana Logistics 300. In an awesome display of what they are capable of, Juan Carlos Lopez started eighth off the line and quickly passed the first seven starters on the first lap. As the laps went by, he gained an even larger lead over the rest of the field. (more…)
