    Ladies Offroad Network Socials and Experiences at King of the Hammers a Success

    MESA, AZ   February 15, 2017:  Everyday from 9-11am the Ladies of Hammertown gathered at the 4 Wheel Parts booth for a Ladies Offroad Social with coffee, cocoa, tea, water and snacks for a casual environment to talk and get to know each other.  In addition to the daily socials, there were two hands-on experiences that ladies could participate in.  On Tuesday afternoon over 60 Ladies gathered to try their hand at welding at the Ladies Offroad Welding Experiencehosted by ESAB Welding & Cutting, and on Wednesday Ladies gathered at the BFGoodrich Tires Garage for the Ladies Offroad Tire & Winch Experience to learn how to change a tire from Brad Lovell and work a winch line with WARN.  At each event the ladies were entered into immediate drawings including I’m Not Just a Girl shirts, ESAB Welding Helmets, BFGoodrich Tires Gloves and more.  They were also entered into the week-long drawing for the Black Forest Gear $649 Fridge/Freezer and Kicker $199 Amphitheater.     MESA, AZ   January 30, 2017:  BFGoodrich Tires™ and Ladies Offroad Network have partnered to host a hands-on Ladies Offroad Tire Experience at King of the Hammers on Wednesday February 8th from 1-3pm at the BFGoodrich Tires Garage.  Ladies will have the opportunity to use a jack, impact wrench, star and other tools to learn how to properly change a tire.  We will be changing the tires on Frankie, the Jeep Charlene Bower used in the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Trail of Missions and Rebelle Rally events. The first 50 ladies in attendance will receive a special gift from BFGoodrich Tires and everyone that attends will be entered to win a Bag of BFGoodrich Goodies and more.  (more…)

    Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Events Conclude at SEMA Show

    MESA, AZ   October 31, 2016:  After initially announcing three events that ladies could qualify to participate in for the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge, the annual trade-only SEMA Show was added to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge as a fourth event. Although not a driving event, the two ladies chosen to be part of the Bower Media team as Charlene Bower’s assistants are Kristie Moore and Leigh Singleton.  (more…)
