Spectator Areas 1 – 4 which are accessed via Goodsprings Road in Jean Nevada, and Primm Valley which will host a massive spectating area as well as the official Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line. Primed for Two Vehicle Debuts at Best in the Desert’s Parker 425
After a momentous year in 2014, JIMCO Racing celebrates its 40th year of off-road race car building with Rob Archibald’s win in Class 1 at SCORE International’s San Felipe 250. An impressive field showed up for the 259-mile sprint in San Felipe, which is home to the wide variety of terrain first to shake down vehicles after a couple months resting in the shop. After the brutal race San Felipe is known for, JIMCO Racing’s Rob Archibald was first to cross the line in Class 1, earning his first win in Class 1 in the SCORE-International Series. -
TJ Flores and Trent Fabrication Team Up For 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers
TJ Flores has a reputation for doing more with less in the desert, regularly pushing his Class 1 car to victories in Best In The Desert and SNORE races ahead of teams with more horsepower and funding. Mad Media & Best in The Desert to Produce the Greatest Off-Road Race in the World – The Legendary Mint 400
The world-renowned General Tire Mint 400 was recently acquired by The Martelli Brothers – partners in the nationally recognized marketing/production group Mad Media – who have since formed a multi-year partnership with Casey Folks of Best in the Desert to manage the event. The Mint will now be part of The Best in the Desert American Off-Road Racing Series, but will remain open to privateers. Hundreds of race teams will compete in twenty different classes of race vehicles at next year’s Mint 400, which will take place the weekend of March 23rd – 25th 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (more…) -
Adam Householder Takes The Trick Truck Victory In Henderson
Adam Householder just keeps getting faster and faster. After starting 28th off the line at Best In The Desert’s (BITD) Silver State 300 earlier this season, Householder shocked the competition and brought home his first Trick Truck win (BITD’s equivalent of SCORE Trophy Trucks). Since that time Householder has consistently put the No. 24 Householder Motorsports Ford near the top of the standings in both BITD and SCORE International; the only driver to earn Top Five season standings in the most elite class of each of these series.
