RENO, NV JULY 5, 2010 – The Xtreme Outlaw race held Father’s Day weekend at the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) combined an Xtreme Outlaw 250 (XO250) desert race, Xtreme Livfast Super Moto (XLSM), and Xtreme LivFast Freestyle Motocross (XLFM) with autograph signings and plenty of entertainment including performances by The Offspring, Tommy Lee and John Huntington. Chuck Dempsey and Micky Dymond were the biggest winners at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino taking home the purse and some amazing “Six-Shooter” trophies. (more…)

JT Taylor Places First and Creates History at Pike Peak Challenge with Rock Racer
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO JUNE 30, 2010 JT Taylor is the first ever Rock Racer allowed to compete in the world renowned Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. JT Taylor competed in the Exhibition class and took first place with a time of 14 minutes 7 seconds, and a top speed of 86mph. “I am so excited to be a part of this race, and then to have the fastest time in the class is awesome. W.E. Rock Eastern US National Rocks Through the Night
PLACERVILLE, CA JUNE 30, 2010: Dayton Tennessee’s Mountain Extreme Park hosted the 2nd W.E. Rock Eastern US National Event. Even though the weather tried to put a damper on the night event, drivers and spectators didn’t leave until the final course was complete.“There were probably more spectators at this event than at any other W.E. Rock event to date,” stated Rich Klein, race promoter. “When the rain started pouring on Saturday night and the spectators disappeared we thought we had seen the last of them, but as the rain lifted and the events continued, they all returned until it was completely over, which was about 3am with the delay. W.E. Rock at Donner Ski Ranch Turns Out Another Great Event Over Father’s Day Weekend
RENO, NV JUNE 25, 2010: The most highly anticipated event of the year, Rock’n @ the Ranch W.E. Rock Western US National, held at Donner Ski Ranch over Father’s Day weekend, was a competitor and crowd pleaser. The event attracted 28 teams with spectators and crews littered all over the mountain.“The courses were insane, we beat ourselves and our rigs up,” stated competitor Matt Messer from Trail Gear who took his first ever Unlimited class win. Drivers competed on some of the hardest natural terrain courses this location has ever seen and there was plenty of rollover action, which is typical for Donner with the amount of ledges, drop-offs and amazing rocky formations. “We really had a lot of fun putting these courses together, they were really technical and focused on the drivers skills,” said Rich Klein, event promoter. VORRA Cuts Through Nevada Desert at Xtreme Outlaws 250 where Chuck Dempsey Takes $5,000 Purse
RENO, NV JUNE 22, 2010: Despite all obstacles, VORRA produced an epic race over Father’s Day Weekend, June 17th – 20th, 2010. The Xtreme Outlaws 250 race started with the Grand Sierra Leap then paraded down Interstate 80 to the green flag where they went into the wild desert for four laps of brutal and fresh terrain. Class winners Chuck Dempsey, Patrick Timmons, Gary Herrod, Mike Shaffer, Jay Schroeder, Greg Jones, Vince Viola, Kevin Yoder, Terry Shelton and Dennis Jean made their way through the Nevada desert to complete one of the toughest VORRA races yet.
