Greenville, S.C., June 6, 2016 – It has been more than two years since BFGoodrich Tires has not claimed the overall win in a SCORE International desert race. While that streak ended, the tire company did help their drivers to eight class wins. Additionally, eight of the top 10 overall finishers raced on BFGoodrich Tires at the 48th SCORE Baja 500.
For the first time in 11 total races in the series, a driver not running BFGoodrich Tires claimed the overall win in a SCORE race as Gus Vildosola, Jr took the prize by three minutes.

Ensenada, Mexico, June 3, 2016 – Eleven consecutive races over the last two years. That is the current run of overall race wins for BFGoodrich Tires in SCORE International races. Since the SCORE Baja 1000 in November 2013, racers on BFGoodrich Tires have claimed the overall win in every race held.

The 2016 desert racing season is approaching its halfway point with the upcoming SCORE-International Baja 500 this weekend in Ensenada, Baja California. One can argue the value of having a stacked field of competitors but regardless of car count, it only takes two to create a race. In fact, one could argue that one vehicle trying to simply finish a 500 mile Baja course is remarkable and worth tuning in for. In this world of homogenized tame sports and entertainment, Baja is still punk rock and that’s what makes it magical. Anything can happen and it will. (more…)
More than 100 ULTRA4 cars are expected to return to Glen Helen Raceway for the 6th Annual 4 Wheel Parts Glen Helen Grand Prix. This will be the second race of the 2016 ULTRA4 Trail-gear Western Regional Series. Many of the cars expected to compete also raced in the 2016 Nitto King of The Hammers presented by 4 Wheel Parts. ULTRA4 drivers are competing for a $10,000 purse.
