  • Extreme Outback Releases Ultra Light Aluminum Air Tank

    Vacaville, CA – Extreme Outback Products created the Ultra Light 3.0 all-aluminum air tank for a severely weight-restricted military application. However, this 3-gallon tank — which weighs only 6 pounds — is ideal for any situation where lightweight air storage is needed. Custom-vehicle air-suspension systems is one obvious use, as are corrosive marine and off-road applications.

    The Ultra Light 3.0 features five 3/8-inch outlet ports and a 1/4-inch drain port. The tank is built to DOT-standard 750-psi burst strength. Measurements are 7-inch diameter by 24 inches long. Standard finish is raw aluminum; polishing and powdercoating are available extra-cost options. Extreme Outback can also custom-make tanks to customers’ specs in both aluminum and steel.

    RENO, NV    JULY 5, 2010 – The Xtreme Outlaw race held Father’s Day weekend at the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) combined an Xtreme Outlaw 250 (XO250) desert race, Xtreme Livfast Super Moto (XLSM), and Xtreme LivFast Freestyle Motocross (XLFM) with autograph signings and plenty of entertainment including performances by The Offspring, Tommy Lee and John Huntington.  Chuck Dempsey and Micky Dymond were the biggest winners at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino taking home the purse and some amazing “Six-Shooter” trophies.   • JT Taylor Places First and Creates History at Pike Peak Challenge with Rock Racer

    COLORADO SPRINGS, CO     JUNE 30, 2010    JT Taylor is the first ever Rock Racer allowed to compete in the world renowned Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.  JT Taylor competed in the Exhibition class and took first place with a time of 14 minutes 7 seconds, and a top speed of 86mph.  “I am so excited to be a part of this race, and then to have the fastest time in the class is awesome.  If I could send in my entry fee for next year today, I would!” smiled JT Taylor.     FULLERTON, CA (July 2, 2010) – How to read the sidewall of a tire is the subject of Yokohama Tire Corporation’s second installment of Tire Tips, a series of short educational videos designed to help consumers learn more about tires.
