That’s what I did also. Works great and keeps it out of the elements. My buddies on the Eastcoast have thought it’s pretty slick idea. Of corse not my brainchild idea, I just try and pay attention to yall’s builds.

I read somewhere that you drill out to 3/8” and tap to 7/16-20 fine thread but not sure. Just needing some confirmation.

I have had good luck with the marlin 25mm upgrade and arp studs for the steering. Now that the locking hubs are in the trash I want to install the rcv driveflanges. I want to redrill the hubs and get rid of the hub studs and go with bolts. That’s what I want to upgrade.

I wound up using a 45* jic fitting to give me more clearance on the upper link. I used on like you shared on the upper fitting. Had to clearance the bottom of the alternator mount. Works like a charm.

So the hood didn’t fit like I wanted it to. Didn’t want to add a cowl and I thought the front end was to long. Portaban to the rescue again. A few hrs later and redid the front to fit the hood🤣🤣🤣. Yes I know the hood is going to get smashed. But for know it works.
