just a quick hello, from CO. Been into crawling for years,. Currently have a 87 runner, bobbed locked, caged and abused! Also have a Jimmy's buggy we are just starting g to build. Favorite places are Sand Hollow, Moab, South Dakota, and Co.

Clean 4Runner! I've always been a fan of that body style...

What's the build plan for the Jimmy's chassis? Competition or just social?
 
Gotta be on the cheep, still have 3kids at home (all teenagers lol). Want to keep the bus until it's done so we can still play.
 
So I got my 5.3 locally for $600, Front Ford HP60 for $500, and you can usually find a 14blt for around $100 if not free. I will be on the look out for you if you want...
 
Still gotta save up for the engine mounting kit and axle bracket kit from Jimmy's, all in due time, want to do it right the fort time!! Thanks again,
 
That really is the best, Take your time and do it write the first time. You will hate rushing and getting into a trail just to have shit break. next thing you know you are "That Guy" lol
