T96 1a transmission

I am struggling with putting my t96 transmission back together i cant line up the forks with the gears an get the bearingsinto the main input shaft. If i drop the front of the gear cluster can i pull out the main input shaft and if i do that will more needle bearings fall out of the cluster

moly lube on the needle bearings....keeps them stuck together during assembly.
