Project: North Dakota State Parks Youth Education
Project #45/50
State: North Dakota

Description: This project was funded by the Quadratec 50 for 50 Initiative. Together with Tread Lightly!, Quadratec has committed to fund a project to improve off-road trails and public lands in each state over 24 months.

Tread Lightly! provided responsible motorized use educational materials for North Dakota State Parks to be used for the youth off-highway vehicle course. These materials will be used throughout the 2023/24 season and will educate hundreds of youth riders on the importance of responsible motorized recreation to help protect North Dakota’s trails and riding areas.

Thank you to the following partners for their support:

“We would like to thank Quadratec for supporting a program like youth OHV education courses. With their help we will be able to educate youth interested in motorized recreation about how to be a responsible rider and driver.”-Evan Robins, Tread Lightly! National Stewardship Program Manager
