Project: River Island Staging Area Ribbon Cutting
Location: Arizona

Description: On June 12, Arizona State Parks and Trails unveiled the new River Island OHV Staging Area with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Tread Lightly! was present to connect with local user groups and educate on OHV use ethics. Tread Lightly! designed a full sign panel to educate riders about the T.R.E.A.D. Principles to be displayed at a kiosk in the staging area.

Thank you to the partners who made this possible:

“Tread Lightly! continues to be an amazing partner of Arizona State Parks and Trails. We greatly appreciate Michelle’s commitment to improving motorized user knowledge on safe and ethical riding practices. This new River Island OHV Trailhead is one of the many examples of the quality information that TL is able to provide riders.”-Matthew Eberhart, Arizona State Parks and Trails State Off-Highway Vehicle Coordinator
