The more I research the more it’s all over the board. What size tubing, what size joints and what thickness are you using on your driveshafts. What do you not recommend also if you want share that knowledge.
I plan to run 2.75x.250 wall 1480 stuff
Mainly because all the components I’ll use will be cheap. 2.75 mainly because I can machine adapters out of axle tubing I already have laying around to get me from 3.5x.083 yokes to the 2.75 tubing. I planned on using 2.5x.250 wall but the adapter is 77$ a piece. I can machine an adapter out of my scrap and save money plus it’s a wash on 2.75 tubing vs 2.5 tubing

my plan is to use oliver driveshaft 1350 DIY kits
I have done my own 1410 stuff as well. using rando spicer stuff is sch 80 pipe( 6k truggy)

I've used a variety of mfg'rs and also some DIY. Lots of good names out there but I will never use High Angle again. JE Reel and Tom Woods are both know to support the sport very well.

My rear is 2" or 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" with quarter wall with 1410 joints. (I don't remember without measuring) My front is 1-3/4 with quarter wall with 1350 joints. Biggest reason for 1410 was a shorter shaft needing more angle. Many mfg'rs want to only go 1/8-3/16 wall. I've found they will bend and always go with 1/4" wall.
