    rocky point adra 2GILBERT, AZ    MAY 8, 2013:  Thunder on the Beach Shootout Desert Race in Rocky Point Mexico was an excellent 140-mile course for spectators and racers alike.  “We really appreciate everyone that came over the border to enjoy one of my favorite areas in Mexico,” said Tim Jones, President of the Arizona Desert Racing Association.  “We had some excellent racing on a fun track, so we are calling it another successful weekend for ADRA.  I’m not saying there were a ton of racers, we would really like to see the car counts increase, but we also understand that it takes time to show everyone that we are here to provide an affordable loop style of desert racing in Arizona and of course Rocky Point.” (more…)

  • Fast Field of Racers at Dirt Riot Gray Rock ORV

    dirt riot gray rock 014PLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 7, 2013:  The second Dirt Riot Southeast Series race was hosted at Gray Rock ORV outside of Birmingham, Alabama in a lush green and brown environment where the safety orange color of Bill Baird’s Ultra4 car stood out not only in color, but in speed, taking the win by a full lap.  Earlier in the day Mod Trail winner Tim Carter and Stock Trail winner Travis Wilson raced against a field of over a dozen.  “We had a great time here at Gray Rock!  Everyone was very helpful and the spectators were a lot of fun.  We were happy to run all the races earlier in the day to be able to have open wheeling in the afternoon,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “Dirt Riot’s Pro 4×4 class is continuing to expand and grabbing the attention of the highest level racers that are looking for more seat time, practice and just plain fun!” (more…)

Rock professional rock crawling Eastern Series.   “Friday was 28 degrees after factoring in the wind, and Saturday wasn’t much better.  It was miserable, so I can truly call every spectator that came out a Hard Core Rock Crawling Fan!” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E.     International logo transMESA, AZ     APRIL 30, 2013   Four cars, four classes, two continents, one team.  LetzRoll Offroad Racing proudly announces their expansion into Europe with the addition of UK based driver Mike Robertson to the racing family.  Mike Robertson is the owner and driver of the Ultra 4 / AWDC class 4 TD5 powered Whitbread challenge truck.  Mike finished the 2012 King of the Valleys in 8th place and made the trip to the US to support the #4511 in the pits at the 2013 KOH Everyman Challenge.   (more…)
