Amazingly enough, almost all other LED bars are silicone sealed and not serviceable. If a BD lens is scratched or scored, you don’t replace the entire light as you do with most imported products, nor do you need to send it back to the manufacturer as you would with other popular LED lights. ORBA BOARD INVADES MOAB
The Off Road Business Association help its first open Board of Directors meeting in many years at the 2013 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah. Timed during the Industry show the event was well attended by industry leaders. While not open to the general public, the meeting was broadcast over the public address system so that all in attendance could listen in. Topics included the Johnson Valley OHV Fight with news of official support from Congressman Cook announced after a mid day phone conversation with ORBA President Fred Wiley. Wiley reported that Congressman Cook would be exploring the Alternative 4 Hybrid proposed by the Save The Hammers effort within the California Motorized Recreation Council. (more…)

ORBA FIGHTING TO KEEP TRAILS OPEN NEAR MOAB, UTAH
ORBA is working with a number of local and national organizations to protect motorized recreation in southern Utah. President Obama is under pressure to designate 1.4 million acres of land in Utah as a National Monument. The area surrounds Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah and is referred to as “Greater Canyonlands.” There is no widespread local or Congressional support for the designation, which could threaten to close off-highway vehicle (OHV) use and shared access. Dirt Riot Continues Central Series Endurance 4×4 Racing This Weekend at the Coppermines OffRoad Park
Racing Saturday April 13th Starting at 9am in Altus, OK at Coppermines Offroad Park
PLACERVILLE, CA APRIL 10, 2013: The Dirt Riot Central Series continues to draw professional racers, local 4×4 club members and UTV racers to form a 2013 series that is already heavily contested in all classes this year. This weekend, the 2013 Dirt Riot Central Series second of three races will be at Coppermines Offroad Park on Saturday April 13th, with racing starting at 9am. “We are excited to be back at the Coppermines Park, it always has so much to offer for the racers and spectators that we really enjoy our time there. There was some strong weather at the beginning of the week which helped water down the track, and since it has improved to what should be mid-70’s and clear by the weekend,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “The course this year will include more of the park, and the post party on Saturday night at the onsite Red Dawg Saloon should be a ton of fun with a live band.” (more…)
