  • Raceline Wheels Enters Arctic Cat in UTV King of the Hammers Race

    Arctic Cat Mamba nonbeadlockGARDEN GROVE, CA    JANUARY 21, 2012:  Raceline Wheels Jason Divis and Greg Wells will be alternating driving duties of a 2013 Arctic Cat in the Production 1000 class at the 2013 HCR UTV King of the Hammers race.  “What better way to test and prove the strength of the Raceline UTV wheels and tires than to race them in the hardest UTV race known to date,” said Jason Divis, Raceline UTV Division Manager.  “We trail ride and go to Glamis all the time, so being in the rocks will be totally different and exciting.” (more…)

  • FOX lends wide-ranging support and $6000 to uphold King of the Hammers dynasty

    FOX tuning experts and factory support personnel will be on the lakebed to assist competitors in their quest to take the “King of the Hammers” title for the fifth time in six years.  

    FOX Tuning SupportEl Cajon, Calif. – FOX athletes have ruled King of the Hammers, an extreme competition called “the toughest single day event in the world.” Competitors race across the desert at high speed and conquer several of the toughest rock crawling trails in the United States, all in the same day. FOX athletes have consistently been the fastest due to FOX’s precise tuning and superiordamping performance. FOX tuning gurus will arrive on Monday, February 4th to begin assisting in vehicle set-up. They observe the racecars performance and review technical feedback from the driver. They then consult with the driver to implement any adjustments needed to maximize performance.   • Trail-Gear is expanding product line with all new battery boxes

    300384-KIT-alt1The TG Side-by-Side Battery Box will keep your battery where you want it, even on the toughest rocks and trails. We have all seen the results of batteries not held in place securely, or held in place by bungie cords: fire and sparks. The TG Side-by-Side Battery Box can either be welded or bolted into place with mounting holes located on the bottom of the battery box. Bolts on the back side allows for two battery boxes to be bolted together to form a four battery holder. The TG Side-by-Side Battery Box is CNC laser cut and formed form 12 gauge steel and is shipped unfinished. Once the TG Side-by-Side Battery Box has been mounted, you simply remove the three bolts and the top lifts off allowing you to remove or install the battery in minutes. The TG Side-by-Side Battery Box can either be mounted behind your seat or cab due to its “flat back” design. The TG Side-by-Side Battery Box works with any optima 34/78 group battery.

  • FAST-Aid 2012 Year in Review and 2013 Exciting Future

    FastAidMESA, AZ – JANUARY 16, 2012:  Happy New Year from all of us at FAST-Aid!  2012 was a busy year taking care of racers and non-profit business needs.  We are excited for 2013 including the continued success of FAST-Aid and added participation programs that we hope you will join.

    During the 2012 calendar year, FAST-Aid assisted 7 different approved applications for individuals who were in financial need due to race related accidents.  Without this assistance these individuals would have had no way to pay medical bills and household expenses during their recovery.

    Also in 2012, the Board of Directors of FAST-Aid completed a nearly 3 year application process with the IRS to be a fully approved 501(c)3 organization.  (more…)

  • New Quick-Release Extinguisher Mount Ideal For Off-Road, Boats, Street Machines and Emergency Vehicles

    ORS_FE1BRYANT, Ark. — Fire extinguishers are mandatory for vehicles that compete and for boats that have enclosed engines and cabins. Off-Road Solutions (ORS) now has a modular, affordable Quick Release Mount kit for 1- , 2.5- and 5-lb. extinguishers. This system features two billet aluminum mounting brackets and stainless steel pins. Pulling the release pin allows the ORS mount to swivel apart for fast fire extinguisher removal. Owner-supplied hardware can be used for custom installations. ORS offers optional hose clamps as well as upgraded billet clamps for 2.5-lb. extinguishers and 1.75-inch rollbar tubing.
