    RENO, NV   OCTOBER 4, 2010 – The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF) is pleased to announce that the 2010 Induction Ceremony and a very special Silent Auction will be held at the 2010 Off Road Expo on Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel next to the Pomona Fairgrounds.  The Silent Auction is open to the public, with all proceeds helping to maintain the historic Hall of Fame.  The Induction Ceremony will be held earlier in the day and is by invitation only.  “We were pleased when Family Events approached us with their offer to support us through a silent auction.   • Lucas Murphy Wins the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch KOH Qualifier and Prepares for the 2011 King of the Hammers

    NORTH EASTON, MA      SEPTEMBER 30, 2010:   Lucas Murphy qualified for the 2011 King of the Hammers at the Rausch Creek Qualifier and came to the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch with one goal: To Win. He Did

    Lucas Murphy, in his home built New England trail rig, took first place at the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR) King of the Hammers qualifier located in Seymour, MO on Saturday July 10th.  With miles of newly cut trails to complete, he cut his way through the competition to take the checker flag. “It was a sweet course, slippery climbs and smooth fast wooded trails, just how I like it,” said Murphy.  With adjusted time at work, there was a 2 minute wait to see if any others would cross the line and push him out of the win. “That was an agonizing 2 minutes, but it came and went pretty fast,” stated Murphy who celebrated his first place finish in style!   • 5th Annual Surplus City Fall Mud & Crawl Brought Off Roaders Together for September 11th

    OROVILLE, CA    SEPTEMBER 28, 2010:  The Urban Assault OHV area held the 5th Annual Surplus City Fall Mud & Crawl over the weekend of September 11-12, 2010.  The event, open to all levels of competitors, from no prior experience to the pros in the unlimited class was a great success.  From Rock crawling to mud drags on Saturday and Sunday there was plenty of action to be seen.  The Teeter Totter competition on Sunday drew a large crowd, watching to see who could accomplish such a difficult feat. Included in the weekend long events was a display of the local police, fire and military vehicles in honor of the fallen 9/11 victims.  The big hit of the weekend, for kids of all ages, was the opportunity to ride in the Airborne Ranger Monster Truck.     Trail-Gear is proud to introduce the first of many Tacoma bumpers that we will be adding to our product line. The Rock Defense™ Tacoma Bumper will fit Tacoma’s from 94 1/2 to 2004. All Trail-Gear bumpers are constructed with 1.75″ x .120″ wall, 1035 DOM material. This bumper is a true “bolt on” product, no cutting or welding required.

    Mounting holes on the winch plate are drilled for most 5000-9500 model low-profile winches and smaller sized 9.0R winches. For larger winches some minor trimming of the grill may be required. Bumper also features a 2″ receiver that will make a great anchor point for winch or strap recoveries.

    Note: Turn signal and license plate mounting tabs are not included. Unpainted steel finish. Will not work with roller type fairlead, requires hawse type fairlead. Not intended for use with a body lift.
