Rough Country 1 1/4″ Jeep JK Body Lift with Shifter Adapter
DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE: Rough Country Suspension Systems announces release of the new 1 ¼” Jeep JK Body Lift Kit for manual transmission models. This Body Lift provides a full 1.25″ of additional tire clearance, as opposed to the standard 1″ provided by most other manufacturers. The 1.25″ fiberglass reinforced nylon spacers nest with the factory body mounts keeping the body properly aligned with the frame. This design not only provides lift but also retains the noise and vibration canceling characteristics of the factory mounts while offering a tough enough build to withstand the elements and hazards on the trail. Klune-V Extreme underdrive: New Industrial Strength 4 to one gearset
Rated at 2000 ft lbs input torque, the new 4 to one gearset we are using in the Klune-V “David” model Extreme Underdrive is proving itself nicely out there on the rocks. This gearset, initially beta tested about 3 years ago, expands the durability of this box. Output torque appears to be limited by the size of output shaft used (which is determined by your Tcase). I’ll never say it can’t be broken, I know 4 wheelers can break anything, if you give them a dare. I can say I have not seen a broken gearset yet to date. While the gearset is still not as strong as our 2.7 to one ratio Goliath (Rated at 3200 ft-lbs input torque), with the 4 to one ratio, 2000 ft lbs input torque adds up to 8000 ft lbs output torque. Of course, you could put a locomotive engine in your jeep, and actual torque developed would still be limited by the weight of the vehicle and the size of tires (You cannot get more torque than you can get traction). And of course, when you gear down 4 to one, you are going pretty slow, not much bashing or jumping, so breakage and ”smashage” is reduced considerably overall no matter what engine.
We have put a few Klune-V “David” 4 to one units in Dodge Cummins Diesel full size, large tire apps; we’ll see what happens there!

Dirt Tags Gives Medical Response Team Information They Need
APPLE VALLEY, CA August 11, 2010 ~ Dirt Tags is an innovative new product introduced into the market with the sole purpose of having life saving information readily available. Dirt Tags provide pertinent medical and emergency contact information to medical personnel in case you cannot give the information yourself. Dirt Tags can be purchased individually or in a family pack and generally ship the next day.Eric “Mustard Dog” Anderson, an offroad rock desert racer, invented Dirt Tags. “We all ride and drive hard, and well, crashes happen. As I am getting ready to go to the Baja 1000, I want someone to know who I am, and what I need if I am wadded up, not just a nobody,” said Anderson who has had an experience where he crashed requiring medical attention with no information on him. “This is something that I will wear every time I go offroading from now on.” (more…)

Holz Racing Skid Plate and Pre-Runner Bumper upgrade
As we all know, OEM skidplates are lacking in true protection on any rig. The plastic skids that come on the Polaris RZR are likely adequate for the casual user, but if you play at all, you’ll find them getting scarred and damaged quickly. Serious protection and function means upgraded materials and an integrated system…Holz Racing Products does just this when you combine their Pre-Runner Front Bumper with their Skid Plate Kit.
The Holz system adds that serious protection for the underbody of the RZR by utilizing a combination of UHMW and aluminum. The UHMW is 1/4″ thick and countersunk to use the stock mounting hardware and effectively mimics the stock skid, but adds the advantage of a slippery surface, no ridges to get hung on, and much greater durability. Combine this with the solid protection of the 3/16″ marine grade 5086 aluminum wrap-around rockers, rear skid and integrated pre-runner bumper/skid and you’ve effectively covered all of the important parts of your RZR’s belly from expensive damage.
