2017 Race-Dezert NORRA Mexican 1000 Coverage
This year marks the biggest Mexican 1000 since the race was revived in 2010. Over 260 two-wheel and four-wheel entries signed up for the rally this year; over 100 more than last year. That increase in entries has brought some growing pains (with one minute start intervals it takes over four hours just to start) but we didn’t hear any complaints at the finish line in San Felipe. 2017 Ladies Offroad Challenge Announced to Join Charlene Bower at Three Events
MESA, AZ APRIL 20, 2017: The 2017 Ladies Offroad Challenge gives ladies from across the country the opportunity to be Charlene Bower’s driver, co-driver or media assistant at three events including Achieve Tahoe Rubicon Trail Experience, the 50th SCORE Baja 1000 and Fury Rode. The Ladies Offroad Challenge kicked off when the events and sign-up process were announced during the Ladies Offroad Network Social in Moab.
