Nevertheless, this unfortunate occurrence affects Wrangler JK owners more often than you might expect. The problem involves the factory mounting location of the steering stabilizer, which is immediately forward and well below the centerline of the front axle. The Rusty’s JK gusset kit is a 6 piece bracket kit that will reinforce your axle and add strength. Laser cut from ¼ inch steel. The gussets are precision cut to fit the axle and weld into place.
