King Shocks Dominates the SCORE Baja 1000
NOVEMBER 21, 2013 – The Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 held its 46th annual motorsport competition across the Baja peninsula and over a most treacherous journey through the wild deserts and into the untamed mystique of Northern Mexico. Known as the world’s most arduous non-stop off road racing event, the Baja 1000 demands every ounce of courage that one could muster just to even take the green flag and start down the course at speed. Braver than most,BJ Baldwin, dominated Baja in a King Shock equipped Chevrolet Silverado Trophy Truck and crossed the finish line during the early hours of Saturday morning on November 16, 2013 to claim the overall victory. SEMA 2013: MLR Racework’s Class 6 Race Truck
Who doesn’t love themselves a great SCORE Class 6 race truck? We certainly do, and we know you’ll love a closer look at Matt Lovell’s 2009 Ford Ranger (not that there’s much left of the original truck anyway). With 24 inches of travel up front, and 34 inches of travel in the rear by-way of FOX Racing suspension, we’re curious to see what this truck can do in the desert. King Shock’s Drivers Conquer 2013 King of the Hammers
FEBRUARY 21, 2013 – GARDEN GROVE, CA – After a relatively short life span of existence, the annual King of the Hammers (KOH) Ultra4 Race has quickly garnered international recognition with the likes of Baja 1000 and Dakar as being the toughest off road race in the world. A contributing factor in enduring these extremely grueling events is proven off road shock technology. The 2013 KOH race course featured 184 miles of harsh desert terrain and near impassable obstacles however King Shocks’ drivers Randy Slawson and John Currie conquered all on the way to victory.
